| Description: | Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for leading and coordinating all public relations and marketing communications efforts, including branding and positioning; the design, development, and production of corporate and product marketing collateral; media and analyst relations; advertising; and marketing project traffic management
2. Develop and execute marketing communications/public relations messaging and ensure it is consistent with establish corporate goals
3. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the marketing communications, public relations, and project management employees
4. Manage corporate communications and advertising budgets to meet departmental goals, ensure expenditures do not exceed budget guidelines and estimates, and demonstrate/evaluate value of expenditures
5. Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with media, industry, analyst, and other external/internal experts
6. Conduct market research, then use research results in developing marketing strategies and tactics

| Qualifications: | Knowledge and Skills:
• Management-level proficiency and understanding of principles of effective marketing communications, PR, research, and branding, as well as related tactics
• Experience in managing people, projects, and budgets involved in marcom/PR tactical production
• Knowledge and expertise in technology marketing required, as is the ability to work with executive-level management.
• Past production experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal skills required; management training necessary, as is a more-than-basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Web development, e-marketing, and printing/production methodology.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, business, or liberal arts discipline offering strong communications training;
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in marketing communications and PR, with at least 3 years in management role
