| Description: | The Software Trainer will provide education on all assigned software modules to new and existing customers, deliver Web-based training on assigned software modules and travel as needed to conduct training at customer sites. The Trainer will present a positive view of the company by responding to customers in a timely manner on any follow-up issues and participate in incident resolution. |
| Duties: | To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to instruct customers on assigned software modules; deliver web-based training on assigned software modules; travel as needed to conduct training at customer sites. The Trainer must also contact the customer in advance of a scheduled training session to confirm details and to assess/address specific needs of the customer. Other duties include: participation in regular in-service sessions, review of software and documentation for forthcoming software releases, and interaction with other groups internally to ensure the customer has a positive experience.
Fluency in French Required. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor Degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience is required (MLS preferred). Minimum or 1 year experience in training or teaching essential, basic computer skills (Word Processing), excellent writing, editing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; must be flexible, organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and willing to travel a minimum of 25% of workdays.
Must also have the ability to multi-task and balance tight deadlines, maintain a professional appearance and presentation and possess knowledge of basic library process.
