Description:We are looking for representative to manage a complex sales cycle of SirsiDynix software products and associated services to all types of libraries (public, academic, special and school) for the Chicago area. The representative will manage their entire territory from a sales and relationship perspective; grow license revenue and recurring revenue in their territory; develop and maintain relationships with all customers in their territory; and proactively call and meet regularly with all customers and prospects in their territory. In addition, the representative will present and demonstrate SirsiDynix products and other technology solutions to prospects, customers, and user groups in their territory; create written price quotes, respond to information requests, negotiate pricing and contractual terms; develop and implement the tactics necessary to reach or exceed revenue and profit goals. The representative will be expected to consistently meet or exceed revenue and profit goals. The representative must also live in the assigned territory. In order to ensure the success of all Territory Sales Representatives, SirsiDynix provides an extensive multi-month training program for all new hires. Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position will have a BA/BS Degree and some sales experience (1-3 years preferred); be a library card holder; have an interest in libraries; and live in the territory.
